It’s the most important statistic when deciding who’s advice to follow and which tipsters to ignore. If you can’t find the profit & ROI of a tipster, then my advice is stay clear. There’s generally a reason why they choose to hide their profit (most likely a loss) and that’s enough to raise a red flag. Punter Reviews

It’s impossible for me as an individual to follow and track the bets of a large number of horse racing tipsters. Trust me I tried. It was very challenging. This has become a huge problem in recent years and often racing tipsters ignore the issue by snapping up early prices the night before races take place. Whilst this can result in some impressive stats for the tipster, it’s likely their followers will be left frustrated as prices will change too quickly, making it difficult to get a bet on.

Longevity

You might find a tipster boasting impressive stats and ROI in excess of 20%. At first that can very tempting but it’s important to take a look at how long they’ve been tipping. If you took 1000 people who had absolutely no idea about horse racing to pick a horse each day, the chances are a handful of them would actually make a decent profit across the first 100 selections. That’s just probability. So is that tipster you’ve been drawn into follow one of those lucky few? Or have they been around for long enough to trust their stats. A good sample size is 1000 tips.

Affordability

The price of some of the tipster services today is huge. I’ve seen tipsters asking as much as £149 a month. That’s ridiculous. Analysis

Seen as the least important aspect in my rankings because if a tipster returns a healthy profit, do we as punters really care if they provided in depth analysis of their picks? I know when I was following a lot of tipsters I just didn’t have the time to read the previews.
