Cheltmental is a free tipster service operated by David Young (not quite as glamorous). He’s been following racing for over 25 years and shares tips via his You Tube Channel and GG.Com.

7k followers on You Tube is impressive. My running channel has about 75 😭. That suggest to me that people want to listen to Cheltmental’s opinion.

GG.com is also a really good horse racing tipster website. When Betting Kingdom was once flourishing Dee invited to me to Newbury as part of an affiliate day out. I sat on the same table as a few employees of GG, although I’m 99% one of them wasn’t Dave.

As racing is my least favourite sport and I rarely place a wager on it, it wasn’t until I saw Cheltmental nominated by Smart Betting Club for Free Horse Racing tipster of the year that I became aware of Dave.

If you are more a fan of written word than vlogs then you read picks by Cheltmental on his GG.com blog. I’ve not looked very hard but I’ve yet to find a link to a result sheet.

But I’m never too critical of a free tipster not actively displaying their profit and loss. It just makes it difficult as a punter to take the bold step of following all of Cheltmental’s selection without that info. Perhaps that will become available in due course.
