I tried on a few occasions to trade on Betfair. I was hopeless. I just don’t like cashing out. It takes away the fun of gambling. There was a time I put £500 on Colin Lloyd to beat Wayne Mardle in the PDC World Championship at 13/8. With Lloyd leading 3-1 in a race to 4 sets I did consider trading during the advert break. I didn’t, Jaws lost. I lost. Ouch.
Perhaps that all is the encouragement you need to give trading a go. With cricket being one of the most lucrative sports to gamble on, perhaps this is a good place to start.
If you don’t know much about cricket or trading, then who better the follow than the Cricket Trader. He has at least 4,000 punters following him. That’s the number of subscribers he has on both X and Telegram.
Those are the two platforms where you will be able to view his trades, all made on Betfair by the looks of things. Many of which appear to be inplay so it’s important you have your notifications ready and access to your Betfair account.
And there lies one of the biggest problems for me. How often can you be ready to follow these type of bets? Are you going to leave the dinner table or pause the latest episode of your current TV series, to go and place that trade? If not, don’t bother with this sort of tipster.
If making a profit from sports betting online is your main goal, then perhaps this is an account worth a follow. After all he’s been around since 2017 and seems to have some loyal customers.
There are some things lacking that concern me. Where is the overall profit and loss sheet? What is the ROI of this trading tipster?
Both of these appear to be missing and without that information it’s difficult to have a great deal of faith in the cricket betting strategy. Perhaps start of small. Wager a 10th of what the tipster is backing and see how you get on. Make sure you do keep track of your bets though.
Another thing which I don’t really like about The Cricket Trader is there is almost no explanation as to why he places his bets when he does. It’s a free service so there’s no reason he should have to do that, but I always enjoy knowing the reasons why I’m placing my bets and investing my money in a certain selection.
With a lack of cricket tipsters on the market and very few traders, perhaps this is worth a try. If you do, or if you’ve already profited from The Cricket Trader and his betting strategy, then please leave a review to help other punters make the right choices.
