Racing TV is two things bundled together and it is worth separating them. It is a television channel showing racing from more than sixty courses, and it is also a form product, because the racecards on the site carry Timeform Premium ratings, tips and replays. If you were thinking of paying Timeform separately, some of that is already in here.
How you actually use it is simple enough. You watch the racing you are betting on, which sounds obvious until you have tried reading a race in running without seeing it. Racing TV Extra is the underrated bit, a dedicated feed per course so you can watch the paddock and the horses going down rather than whatever the main broadcast has chosen. If you are the sort who wants to see a horse sweating up before you have your money on, that is where the value sits.
Now the bit I am not going to dress up. The Trustpilot score is 3.3 and sixty five percent of the reviews are one star. Almost all of them say the same thing, that a free trial or cheap introductory month turned into a twelve month commitment they had not spotted, and that getting out of it was hard work, with debt collection letters for some. Read the terms before you click, and read them properly.
The other thing worth knowing is that nobody should be paying the headline price. Twenty four pounds ninety eight a month is the rate for people who did not look. There is nearly always an offer running at a fiver, a tenner or twelve quid, so wait for one.
Judged purely on the product it is very good and there is no real alternative if you want British and Irish racing. The racing is excellent. The small print is where people get caught.
