As a punter always on the look out for winning tips and expert insight, BettingPros has really caught my attention. I’m surprised it’s a site I’ve not really come across before, but I put that down to my lack of interest in US sports.

This is very much a website focused on action from across the pond. NFL, NBA, NHA and MLB the sports they provide the most information on. So perhaps if you are a punter based on the UK and want to gamble on those sports more often, this is the website for you.

How does BettingPros work? I think I understand. It’s primarily a betting tips platform, sharing free picks from the major US sports, including player props, against the spread (handicap) and over/under predictions.

They have found over 150 experts and they compare their predictions to then share the most popular daily selections. So they are gathering information from a wide range of sources and then sharing that with us, the punters. I like the concept.

If you prefer you can choose your favourite experts, those who perhaps you have more faith in, and see who they are backing.

Other features on offer include what is referred to as “Line History”. I believe this means comparing odds from individual sportsbooks and comparing them with the top bookmakers. Basically and odds comparison tool, but alerting you of any value in the markets.

BettingPros have their own team of authors who provide daily articles and free tips. They also have advice on how you can improve your gambling, and become a better punter.

There is an option to sign up to their premium package to gain full access to all of the tools on offer. That cost $7.39 per month. So what extra will you get for this small investment?

There is the Prop Bet Cheat Sheet which I believe is similar to other recent sites to launch, such as Footy Metrics, albeit focusing more on US Sports and finding you good betting opportunities with value in the odds.

You will receive expert game picks, whether this is from their own writers or the comparison tool they use, I’m not 100% sure. They have a Parlay Wizard tool. For those of you not familiar with the term, parlay is the American term for accumulator.

This toll helps you combine expert selections into a parlay (accumulator) and help you make better selections, rather than just chucking a few bets together and hoping for the best.

With the premium package you will also gain access to over 20,000 Betting Systems, wow, that’s a lot. They do suggest these systems have been tried and tested.

I have to admit it’s not a website I’ve used myself, partly because these days getting a bet on is tough for me, but my instincts tell me it could be a very useful tool for anyone out there looking to invest more time and money into the US Sports.
