Punters Diary Day 31 – Profit Update

  • June 26, 2023

Another week done and dusted. Not much in the way of progress over the weekend. It was a mixed bag on the golf.

Jamie Worsley has well and truly repaid the faith I’ve shown in him. I landed a 70/1 winner on Stuart Manley on the Challenge Tour. I’ve now got an 11.1% ROI following Jamie after 231 bets, more than any tipster.

Golf Betting Club reached the 100 mark and I’m currently showing a ROI of 52.6%. Wow! A review will follow shortly. They landed Thriston Lawrence at 50/1 in the BMW International Open.

They also had EW places on Reavie (200/1) and Blair (500/1) in the Travelers Championship. Sadly I didn’t see the in-play selection on Blair in time and he was much shorter when I saw the post. Given the low stakes advised it doesn’t make a huge different to my ROI, although it would be higher had I backed the tip.

We launched Golf Betting Club three years ago in June 2020.

Since that time we've covered every Major, PGA Tour and DPWT event, along with all the LIV events in 2023.

It was blank week for Ben Coley, Mark Ledsham and Matt Vincenzi, so it was case of break even for me on the golf. Overall golf is the sport that is winning me the most money though.

Steve Ryder who did creep into profit has endured a poor run. My ROI is -4.2% after 160 bets. I will remain loyal until the next review point (250 bets) but if I’ve not made a profit by then I think it will be time to move on. Come on Steve. You got this!

ProPunter is another horse racing tipster closing in on the 100 mark. I did miss a few winners early on but I’ve struggled so far. -18% ROI and just 11 winners from 94 bets. I may have to make a tough decision in a few days time, although previous history suggests his form should turn.

Further down my list RobTheBookiesFC and Tennis Masterr have both crept into profit. Both hugely popular tipsters but with that comes the issue of odds availability. I just have to take it on the chin that I’ll miss a lot of their winning tips because I can’t get the prices quoted.

Also a shout out for Kris Jones. He’s given me free access to his paid service and I now have a 15.3% ROI after 35 bets. A win rate of 54.3% is also excellent.
