SteeGolf is a premium online golf betting tipster who is part of the Wadster Bets group. This means you only pay for tips when you make a profit.
So you buy credits, and for SteeGolf they cost £5 per credit. So you could purchase 10 credits for £50.
If you then land a winning bet, say a 10/1 selection, recommended at 1pt, 10 credits would be taken from your account. If a bet loses, you’ll get extra credits added to your account.
My concern with this approach, especially in golf betting, is the more you stake the lower the % of your profit you have to invest into Wadster Credits.
So it certainly favours those who are able to wager more, although you can still make a profit with small stakes and Wadster suggests a minimum stake of £15 per point is required to take advantage of this service. Even that for me is too rich.
At the time of writing this profile, nearly half of the profit has been generated from what is referred to as a “Soft Bookies” group. To be fair to SteeGolf he does wait until Wednesday evening to share his selections so the market will have settled.
Without following the service it’s difficult to know what the odds availability are like. But if you’re paying for pts profit, it becomes very important you do get the advertised price, otherwise you could end up paying a greater percentage of your winnings.
It’s an interesting concept and SteeGolf has clearly made a very good start with an excellent ROI of 39%, albeit from a small size. But as with any tipster, I wish him the very best of luck.
