I’ve not had a great deal of experience with AI. I did recently ask it whether I could achieve my marathon PB having had a norovirus 7 days previously. AI categorically told me I had no chance. I ran a 7 minute PB! 🤔 So I still need convincing.
I wasn’t sure whether Race AI would fall into the tipster or betting tools section, but I’ve opted for the former, for now.
This is a service which uses AI to generate horse racing tips. It’s set up by a chap called Wayne. He’s been working in AI for a few years and always had a love for horse racing. He just started playing around using racing data from an API feed and getting AI to calculate potential winners.
What he discovered was that AI was particularly good at finding losers and things took off from there. It was when Wayne hit 40% Betfair Commission that a friend suggested he should try and offer a service, and here we are today. So clearly this model works.
Results displayed on the site to date have been excellent. October returned +779.55pts profit. Wow. But that was averaging between 100-200 bets per day. Wow again.
In fact on Monday 20th October they advised 528 bets. Say what? Wow perhaps?
They kindly gave me access to the premium part of the site to explore. For £29.99 a month you get AI racecards for every race. You’ll get the Best Bet of the day, AI powered analysis as well as unlimited daily selections.
If you have any questions they offer chat support and even predict the finish order in every race. If you find it’s not to your liking then you can take advantage of the 30 day money back guarantee.
It’s worth having a Betfair account because a lot of the selections are lay bets. They are promising Betfair integration soon to make it much quicker to place bets. Sadly my Betfair account is long gone.
They offer a comprehensive guide within the blog to how best use the service which I have linked to here. HOW TO USE RACE AI.
If you wanted to try the free account first, that offers 3 selections per day in races with 8 runners or less and at odds of 5/1 or below.
There is a daily blog where they summarize the days bets and list the profit and loss. I really like this idea and it shows they are being accountable for their tips and also confident in the product they have created.
They also post some free tips on their X feed each day. At first I wasn’t 100% clear on how best to use the data and so backed the two races that AI was most confident in. 85% and 70% confidence, both horses were a shade odds on, both lost.
But that’s just 2 tips, so I’m not passing judgement. I just got unlucky. Horse racing and AI, neither are really my cup of tea so I’m not sure how many more bets I’ll make following this service, but it has certainly peaked my interest.
If you have followed Race AI and made a profit, or lost for that matter, then why not leave a review to help other punters make smart choices when it comes to betting online.
