I stumbled on Rhys when his name cropped up within a post from the excellent Golf Tips Checker. It was a 7th winner of the year for Rhys, when Fleetwood rolled his egg beautifully in the final round to land the Indian Championship.
At that point Rhys was displaying a profit of +61.49 units of profit for the year and a ROI of 24.84%. Excellent stats.
That’s the main reason I was happy to add his profile to Betting Kingdom. It’s his first year of tipping but if those stats continue then he could become one of the golf tipsters to follow. Perhaps?
And there lies the issue right now. The sample size is too small. I remember other golf tipsters like Danny Flavin and even the Golf Betting Club to some degree, bursting onto the scene with some excellent results across one season. I don’t think either has really been able to sustain it.
If it were me I would be waiting for a bigger sample of results before investing my own money in selections from a tipster like Rhys.
He tips on both main tours. The DP World and the PGA. His picks are posted on his X feed with a very smart and sensible staking plan, along with the odds and the number of EW places to grab.
The downside is probably the lack of insight provided. Almost no mention of why he’s chosen the players he has. But that’s not uncommon these days, even with paid tipsters, so I wouldn’t see that as a deal breaker.
Rhys still has a very small following, around the 150 on X, so I doubt very much anyone is really paying much attention to his golf tips right now. But let’s see what happens. We all have to start somewhere right.
If you have followed Rhys, or any golf tipster for that matter, why not leave a review. The idea of this website is to create a platform with honest reviews of the best betting tipsters and tools that can help punters beat the bookmakers. With your feedback it will help others o make smart choices as to who to follow. Thanks.
