I’ve been gambling with Unibet for over 25 years. There are times my stake is limited on some of the smaller markets but my account has remained active for all that time, unlike other bookmakers.

Summary

I know Unibet and other bookmakers who are part of the Kambi Sports team get poor reviews from punters, but my experience to date has been good. I’ve been a customer for over 25 years and whilst I do find myself being limited on the smaller markets, for the most part I can get all my bets on with Unibet. They offer a wide range of markets from all major sports. The best selling point is the Uniboost on racing. You can boost the odds on 3 selections a day which often allows me to get better odds than what the racing tipster promotes. That’s difficult to do with most other bookmakers.

Odds Availability

This is probably one of the biggest issues with Unibet. They don’t have their own inhouse traders and use a company called Kambi Sports to produce their odds. Often these odds can be quite volatile and if you are not quick you are likely to miss out on the best price. I’ve hadΒ  this problem of late with the tennis and often I just can’t get the minimum odds that a tipster like Tennis Pilot promotes using Unibet. Unfortunately that is the case with a lot of bookmakers these days but Unibet are probably regarded as one of the worst among the leading names.

Stake Limitations

The fact I can still gamble with Unibet puts them ahead of a dozen other bookmakers in the pecking order. Stake limitations are in place for me when betting on smaller sports. On the golf I might be limited to a couple of quid on a big price in a 2nd tier tournament. Often for football I find my stakes being limited if I’m trying to back a big priced outsider in the cards markets. It’s frustrating, but again it’s something all the bookmakers are doing and some of them are a lot worse than Unibet from my experience.

Customer Service

I don’t recall having many dealings with the Unibet customer service, especially of late. What that does suggest is that they are quite efficient at settling results correctly. If that changes and I do need to speak to them for help I will update this section with my how I got on.

Markets

Unibet are one of the best bookmakers when it comes to the different markets they have available. For me they are great in that they cover all of the major golf tournaments. I also find myself using them a lot for smaller markets on the football such as player card, player shots and anytime goalscorer. Unibet are also quite popular among tennis tipsters although I do have problems matching the best odds.

Website Interface

I’ve never been a massive fan of the Unibet website layout. I find the racing section is great and very easy to find the race and selection you are using. They have actually separated Racing from other sports which does make it easy, but a bit annoying that you have two different pages for checking your bets have been settled correctly. For other sport like golf I often find the way the markets are divided can be a bit frustrating. It often feels like it should just be easier to find the wager you are looking for. All in all though it’s pretty decent and placing bets can be stress free the majority of the time.
