Great Grand Slam for Darts Tipsters

  • November 20, 2023

It’s a busy time in the darts calendar and the Grand Slam last week produced some scintillating darts as Luke Humphries landed his second major title in just 6 weeks.

This is a player who at the start of the season was ignored for a place in the Premier League. He’s currently playing the best darts of anyone in the World.

He sits top of the betting for next months World Championship with bookmakers offering a best price of just 4/1. But it’s a very open market with MVG at 5/1, Price 5/1 and defending champion Michael Smith 9/1.

That’s music to the ears of long time darts punters like myself who spent years watching one player dominate the big events.

I loved the Grand Slam last week and had a few wagers myself. The Sporting Life duo of Carl Fletcher and Chris Hammer had a fine tournament including backing Humphries to land the spoils at 7/1.

🏆 Luke Humphries outright (7/1)
💷 17.6pts of profit across Grand Slam (37% ROI)
🎯 45 correct results predicted (out of 62)
🔮 10 correct scorelines

That made up the majority of their +17.9pts profit, finishing the event with a ROI of 37%. What was equally impressive was they predicted the result in 72% of the matches and also landed 10 correct scores.

It was an even more lucrative tournament for James Punt who made a profit of +13.8pts with a 28.75% ROI. I had to work my way through his tips to find those results as sadly James, or TX Markets who he tips for, don’t track his profit and loss.

However with those stats in mind and his long term experience of tipping on the arrows he might be the man to follow over the next 6 weeks.

Anon Darts Tips produced a small profit from his Grand Slam Tips of +0.17pts.

Premium tipster OnTheOche continued his disappointing for with a loss of -1.52pts for the tournament. He does offer a 14 day free trial which would be a good time to sign up with the Players Championship and World Championship on the horizon.
