I went to bed in a sulk yesterday questioning my greed having cashout Over 3.5 Martinez saves and replaced the bet at the higher line of Over 4.5.
When I first opened the flashscores app for an update after 57 minutes, the World Cup winning keeper hadn’t made a single save. Brilliant.
I checked again at fulltime and the inevitable had happened. 4 saves. Why did I cashout? Why was I greedy?
However this morning I awoke to find my bookmaker balance a lot healthier than I had expected. Turns out Opta who keep the official stats counted 5 Martinez saves and I’d bagged another winner. Thanks for Lewis Jones (not Luke Thomas) for a cracking tip.
My initial pot of £50 has risen to £63.91 in 8 days. Not a bad start. There’s only one place to focus my attention tonight and that has to be the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Can Spurs give their arch rivals Arsenal a massive title boost? Doubtful. I’ve spent a short time checking out some selections for this game and have opted to follow the advice of Tipster Wizard on this occasion.

When I was tracking last year he returned me a very healthy profit and his Bet Builders certainly played a role in that. His post for Betting Odds UK normally consists of two selections. A Bet Builder around the Even money mark and a bigger priced outsider.
I’m playing it safe and following his 19/20 shot. He’s backing Man City to win & have at least one offside, combined with Son having over 0.5 shots.
The City win needs little explanation, they are on a superb run of form, unbeaten in their last 21 league games and storming their way to a 4th consecutive Premier League title.
They’ve scored 27 goals in their last 7 matches. Not bad. They face a Spurs side that have lost 4 of their last 5 in the Premier League to blow their chances of a Top 4 finish.
City offsides looks a banker. Tottenham love to play a high line and in all 36 of their Premier League games this season their opponents have been caught offside at least once. There have been 10 offsides against them in the last 2 games. When these two sides met here in the FA Cup City had 3 offsides.
Son has averaged 2.4 shots per game this season, registering at least one shot in 13 of his last 14 starts at home for Spurs. This is the most risky part of the Bet Builder but a combined price of 19/20 looks decent.
Good luck and if you’ve not following Tipster Wizard or the site Betting Odds UK then I highly recommend checking them both out.
Bet: Man City to win, Son Over 0.5 Shots, Man City Over 0.5 Offsides – 19/20 (1.95)
