OddsBandit is a new betting tool from the team at Bettin.gs. A site I used a lot in the past to track my bets, so this definitely has peaked my interest.
At the time of publishing this profile to Betting Kingdom, OddsBandit is in a Beta Testing phase and is currently allowing users to sign up for free and trial the product.
The concept is they use AI to scan millions of odds across bookmakers in real time to find value in the odds. Basically pin pointing matches and markets that offer value.
Quite how the model works or creates the “true price” is beyond my knowledge, but if it’s really accurate and works then as punters, do we really need to know how the cogs turn?
They are currently using 21 trusted bookmakers to find these value odds and will display them as a percentage. I had a quick look and the market had adjusted to the odds displayed and the value snapped up which would suggest OddsBandit does work in theory.
This approach to betting will require you to be quick off the mark, have access to lots of bookmaker accounts to maximise your profit, and be diligent with your bet tracking.
I personally have followed services in the past that focus on early value (EV) and whilst I did find them profitable, it wasn’t a great deal of fun. Betting on leagues I had no interest in, having to track my bets and occasionally I placed the wrong wager by mistake, simply because I found the whole process tiresome.
But that’s me. I prefer to seek out the value myself. Tools like OddsBandit do that hard work for you, so if you are purely driven by profit and beating the bookmakers, a service like this could work really well for you.
The trouble being with the industry right now is bookmakers are likely to quickly pick up on your betting habits and see that you’re snapping up early value, so don’t be surprised if a few accounts are lost as a result.
That’s not the fault of services like OddsBandit though, that’s just way the bookmakers operate these days, so you might want to ensure you place some mug bets alongside the value selections offered up here.
I’d be interested to hear how anyone has found this new product and whether they’ve found it useful in generating a profit. If you have, leave a review below and help other punters make good choices when it comes to which websites and tools to use. Thank you.
