There was a time in my life when I was bitter towards a tipster like Andy Robson. I had built a great tipster community offering well researched tips, from some of best tipsters online, and then came Twitter, and it opened a whole new world to punters.
Andy Robson took advantage and fair play to him for doing that. He jumped on board the Choo Choo Train, the rolling accumulator, and punters couldn’t get enough.
I guess it’s wear all my followers went. No longer interested in backing Even money shots, they wanted big profit from small stakes and those sort of tips were everywhere on Twitter.
If you look at Andy Robson’s personal account he has over 740,000 followers on X.
Andy has never hidden from the fact that’s he’s profited from punters losing, earning his money via bookmaker affiliate scheme’s. Without that revenue stream, he never would have evolved.
To be fair, the product which is now available is actually really impressive.
It’s still aimed at the more casual punter who prefers bet builders and accumulators, but with over 500,000 users every month, that’s clearly where the demand lies.
I get the impression a third party is now involved and it almost has a bookmaker feel to the website, where you add bets to your slip, without leaving to the website. That to me feels quite advance.
But there are some really neat features on the site. The Bet Pack applies probability to specific markets across upcoming matches. It will display the odds available and you can also click on the stats. This is a decent tool for those of you that like backing accumulators.
The Bet Builder tool focuses on a wider range of markets and takes stats from recent matches to discover bets with the best chance of winning. The idea being you can quickly create your own Bet Builder without the need to do much research. Whether you end up with a bet that has value, it’s impossible to say, but again it’s a cool feature.
If you prefer betting on the horses, then Andy has created a Ratings system using 11 key variables to give every horse in the UK a rating. You can combine that with the hit rates which provides statistics for each horse across another of markets. You can also break that down into distances and ground, based on the race they are running that day.
You can get tips across all major football matches and these come with pretty in depth analysis into why you should back the selections. Andy employs a number of different tipsters to provide these expert opinions, some of whom already appear on this website.
You will have to put up with Free Bets and Offers posted around the site, but some of you might find this useful. There’s also a Best Bookies section, although it only appears ABC works with a few bookmakers right now. Perhaps something they are looking to expand.
Andy has invested some of his earnings into sponsoring a football team in the Faroe Islands called B36. You gotta love that right? He’s even travelled to watch them play.
A new addition to the site is the £1 Million Premier League Prediction Game. If you can predict how the table will look come the end of the season, positions 1-20, you’ll bank yourself a million pounds. Nice.
If you have followed Andy Robson in the past or use the ABC website for your bets, please leave a review below. Thank you.
