Third trading tool in a row and I promise that is the last of them for a bit. This one is the quiet member of the family. Everybody has heard of Bet Angel, plenty of traders swear by Geeks Toy, and Cymatic just gets on with it in the corner without a marketing budget.
Its party trick is genuinely clever though. It shows you your position in the queue. If you have ever stuck a bet on a ladder and sat there watching the price sit exactly where you asked while nothing happens, wondering whether you are first in line or four hundredth, that is the problem this solves. Knowing you are at the back of a big queue tells you to move before the market does it for you. Nobody else was doing that when Cymatic started.
It also talks to Excel, so if you are the sort who likes building rules in a spreadsheet you can have it firing bets off your own criteria. There is a robot built in as well, although as ever, a robot does what you tell it and not what you meant.
Two things to be clear about. It is Betfair and nothing else, so if you use Betdaq or Matchbook look elsewhere. And it is Windows only, although the flip side is that it will happily run on a laptop that struggles with modern software.
Pricing is the irritating bit. I could not pin it down from three different sources, which is never a great look.
