Wow. Just Wow. I could actually end this write up there, such is the magnitude of the impression this site has made on me. And I only spent 10 minutes looking around.
It raises the question, will there come a time when we don’t even need tipsters? That’s a bit harsh on those making a profit and beating the bookmakers, but so simple are the features on Footy Metrics it got me wondering.
So what is Footy Metrics you ask? Well it displays player props, odds and team stats on their website. Probably the easier way of describing it would be to provide you with an example of how I used the site.
I’ve been in the industry for a long time and I’ve never seen anything quite like this. Footy Metrics has taken the punter experience to a new level.
I could spend ages describing all the features they have, but you can find that information on their website. So I would only be repeated what they have already said.
In summary this is a website which helps you quickly find the best players and teams to bet on, using in depth statistics and odds comparison.
So I signed up. With a free account you have 3 searches per day. I’m old school, so I wanted to bet on the anytime goalscorer market. The filter allows you to edit your search in a number of different ways.
I started by searching for players that had scored in at least 4 of their last 8 matches. You can edit both the % or the number of matches you search for.
You can changed the opponent difficulty, search for players who only play in specific positions, who are predicted to be in the starting line up and the minimum number of minutes they play for.
So within 30-60 seconds I now have a list of in form goalscorers, likely to be starting their next game, up against fairly weak opposition and the best price on offer. The results will also display their stats from the recent matches, how many goals, or shots on target, on whatever stat you searched for, along with the opposition.
I did a second search, this time focusing on Shots on Target and I got a more comprehensive result with quite a long list of possible bets. The only downside and this was a concern to me, was that the odds for some of these players had been cut by the time I went to place my bet.
But I must have spent 2-3 minutes on Footy Metrics and I feel like I’ve placed 3 really good bets where the statistics and value are on my side.
If you want to do more searches then you can simply sign up for the Premium Service which is just £12.99 per month. I think this is a brilliant tool for punters and tipsters who will no longer have to spend hours researching the statistics, Footy Metrics does that for.
