Tipstrr is an online betting platform, with one goal in mind, to help punters win money from sports betting.
The website allows tipsters to sign up, share their selections on the platform and charge money for their tips. Tipstrr will then track all the results, display the profit and loss, and do all the admin work for the tipster.
On the face of things, this is the website we have all be dreaming of, whether we’re tipsters or punters. All the stats are there and clearly displayed to help us make a smart choice as to which tipsters we should follow.
At the very top of the homepage, you’ll see the heading “Home to the world’s best verified tipsters”. An exciting and bold claim, is it true? Hopefully reviews from punters who have used the site will determine that.
They are said to track thousands of sports tipsters with proven track records. In fact, at the time of posting this profile onto Betting Kingdom, Tipstrr had processed over 7.5 million tips. Wow!
I think the biggest problem with Tipstrr becomes apparent fairly quickly on the homepage. Under the title “Most popular tipsters”, again this was at the time of publishing this page, there was a tipster called “Sousa”.
Sousa has a win rate of 44% and a ROI of 4.4%. To sign up for his tips you would need to make an initial payment of £39.50 and then £79 per month. Tipstrr display his average monthly profit as £11.24.
Hmmmm. So as a punter I can sign up to a tipster for £40 a month who is making £11 profit a month? Let me think about that for a moment. Nah, you’re alright, I’ll pass.
In fact of the 6 tipsters listed under the “Most Popular” banner, 5 of them cost more to subscribe to each month, than the profit they are generating. The monthly subscriptions range anywhere from £29 to £149 per month.
Now obviously this problem can be solved, but simply staking more than is advised and therefore increasing your profit, but we as punters know it’s not that easy in today’s industry, with bookmakers so swift to cut results.
So whilst the founders of Tipstrr have done a brilliant job at creating a platform for tipsters to make money, share their tips and help punters win, I just don’t think those “experts” exist. And if they do, they don’t appear to be choosing this website to share their insight.
So it’s not really a criticism of Tipstrr themselves. The site is great, it’s just the tipsters aren’t. Betting Kingdom experienced the same issue. Prior to sites like X and Telegram, tipsters required sites like us to make their voice heard.
Betting Kingdom had so many good tipsters prior to the Social Media boom. I won so much money and was using my gambling winnings to go on holiday to Barbados. But the minute tipsters found a place they could gain more followers, the dream was over. My last holiday was 1 night in Bromley.
I’ve digressed. Sorry. Tipstrr do also offer free betting tip and some betting news. But I just don’t think you’re going to find the tipsters you hoped for, by visiting this site.
