Andy Francis a free online football betting tipster that shares his selections for Squawka. Tipster or content writer? There is a difference. But Squawka is a hugely popular site with 1.2 million followers on X, so is one of the main tipsters (or writers) worth following? That’s what I’m hear to discuss and perhaps you have an opinion too and would like to leave a review.
Andy does have over a decade of experience and looking at his bio on Squawka he even had a few scouting roles for various clubs before turning his attention to writing.
He’s worked on a number of sites including Football Radar (don’t know that one) and the very popular Betting Odds site. As well as the Premier League, Andy is also a fan of the NFL and Darts.
So how do his tips work? Well Squawka is clearly a big site and they’ll generate their income through advertising and affiliates. So to keep readers coming back they need up to date content. To get that, they pay writers like Andy to produce that for them.
When I added this profile, Andy had posted 7 articles in the previous 24 hours. Which is a lot. If you add in time for research and proof reading, that’s quite a commitment.
The thing is, when a writer like Andy is paid for content, he’s not so focused on delivery profitable tips. Squawka clearly don’t track his profit or loss, at least I can’t see it promoted on the site.
So posted selections regardless of whether the odds are value or not, is much easier than spending hours seeking out those incorrect prices.
That said, if you are looking for a free betting tip on a specific Premier League match, then you might be inclined to see who or what Andy is backing. All of his articles come with previews, team news and head to head records.
He tends to stick to the most popular markets, such as match results, over/under goals and one of my favourites, the anytime goalscorer market.
So whilst following and backing all of his tips is probably unlikely to win you a profit in the long run, there might be some gems in there, that are worth checking on.
Overall a pretty positive review I feel. After all the tips are free and they come with reasoning and insight. Even some of the paid tipster services won’t give you that.
If you have followed Andy Francis or read any of his free betting tips, then why not leave a review below to help other punters find the best tipsters. Thanks as always for reading.
