I miss writing about sport. I miss watching sport. That was my life in the heyday of this website until social media fucked it all up. But I’ve got a spare 20 minutes so I thought I would do what I enjoy and write about the FA Cup final.
Having had a rare opportunity to park my skinny arse in my bean bag and watch the semi final in the living room, I’m very excited about this final, albeit on this occasion it will be on in the background whilst I finish off my running coaching duties for the week.
But I’ve had a number of wagers already on this game, taking advantage of the generous super boosts on offer, as well as following the advice of some of the top football tipsters listed on Betting Kingdom.
Here I just wanted to share my favourite. Eze to Score! There you go. I’m off. Wait a minute. I’m not one of the muppet tipsters who think it’s ok to share tips without any insight. That’s not me.
I want to offer some evidence as to why the 4/1 (5.0) being offered at SkyBet is worth a few quid. SkyBet are top price. Stand out price in fact among the bookmakers on the oddschecker grid and they appear to be holding firm.
The average odds across that grid for Eze to continue his excellent recent goalscoring form are 16/5 (4.2). So straight away you can see it appears we are getting value if we can snap up that top price.
Paddy Power and Betfair are not interested in taking any punts on Eze to score offering just 11/4. If you’ve backed him at those odds due to unwillingness to open multiple accounts, then shame on you, give up gambling now. Well don’t, if you’re only betting small stakes and happy to lose.

Let’s give some credit to some tipsters who have picked Eze. I listened to the Betfair Football Only Bettor Podcast while out running this week, so forgive me if I’m mistaken for thinking it was Jake Osgathorpe who suggested Eze was a good bet to score.
Andy Schooler has put him up in a double with De Bruyne (another bet I’ve placed) to both find the net, again over on the Betfair Blog. They do post some excellent content and the podcast is great, but the fact they won’t accept my bets sums them up as a bookmaker really. In fact I see Betfair as a tipster site these days for that very reason.
Tipster Wizard has also had a small punt on Eze to score alongside a Bet Builder he posted over at Betting Odds. I’ve backed both of those as well.
Shit. Sorry. I’ve still not told you why Eze is a good bet to find the net at odds of 4/1. My bad. Well here you go. This is what you have been waiting for right?
Well Eze has 12 goals this season including 5 in his last 5 matches across all competitions. He’s actually scored from his last 7 shots on target, which is a bonkers stat. His goal in the semi final was superb and I just get the impression he could be the Palace man to help them cause an upset at Wembley today.
When these two sides last met at the Etihad in the Premier League, Eze was on target. So take that 4/1 being dangled by Skybet, sit back on your most comfortable bean bag and enjoy what could be the best FA Cup Final for many years.
Best Bet: Eze to score Anytime – 1pt @ 4/1 – SkyBet
