NBA Finals Odds 2022

  • July 17, 2022

NBA Sports Betting

The NBA is one of the most popular sports leagues in the entire world. And it should come to no one’s surprise that many people engage in sports betting activities when it comes to NBA games. The online gambling community isn’t just made up of standard online casinos as the ones you would find on Mycasinoadviser. Sports betting also makes up a large part of the global online gambling industry. And considering that the NBA is a league with a global reach, NBA sports betting is on the rise, especially with the NBA Finals just around the corner.

The NBA sports betting scene caters to both beginner and professional bettors from all over the world. The NBA Finals are typically held in June and are organized in a best-of-seven series wherein the Eastern and Western Conference Champions meet to determine the NBA Champion for that year. Currently, the Conference Finals are in full swing with just four teams left who are vying for the title: Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat, and the Boston Celtics.

Conference Finals Picture

The NBA Finals are currently looming on the horizon with just four teams left in contention in the NBA Playoff bracket. On the Western front, it looks like the Warriors will be seeing themselves make a return to the finals for the first time since 2019. This will mark the first Finals appearance for the team since Kevin Durant first left them after the 2019 Finals loss to the eventual champion Toronto Raptors. The Warriors will have to win one more game against the Mavericks in order for them to advance to the Finals. While it is highly unlikely, the Mavericks still have a chance to be the first team to come back from a 3-0 deficit in the NBA Playoffs with Luka Doncic at the lead.

In the East, things are a little more exciting. The Boston Celtics currently have a 3-2 edge over their eastern rival Miami Heat. The Celtics also have momentum on their side after a dominant Game 5 win against the Jimmy Buttler-led Heat squad. However, it’s also worth noting that the Miami Heat made it to the Finals back in 2020 and has kept a huge chunk of that squad intact until now.

Championship Odds

Back when the season started, the Brooklyn Nets had the highest odds of winning with +260. They were then followed by the Golden State Warriors with +550. Third, oddsmakers had the Milwaukee Bucks with +700. These two teams were followed by the Los Angeles Lakers and the Utah Jazz who stood at +1000 each. Out of these five teams, only the Golden State Warriors remain and they are heavily favored to win it all. They currently have odds of -3000 against their Dallas Mavericks opponents who are currently rated at +1200. On the Eastern side, it’s a little more competitive with the Celtics serving as the favorite to win with -175 odds. The Heat currently stands at +145.

Betting on NBA Odds

There are dozens of different sportsbooks and platforms that handle NBA sports betting which are available to people all over the world. There are also a variety of different types of bets that a better can make, pertaining to specific games and even with an entire series. The world of basketball betting is becoming ever more popular, especially when compared to betting in other global sports like Football and Cricket.

As it stands, it looks like the Warriors are the odds-on favorite to win it all, but there’s still a chance for any one of the other three teams to make an upset.
