Punters Diary 3: Happy New Year

  • January 2, 2023

Happy New Year and all that bollocks. Let’s move on shall we. It’s the 2nd of January already FFS!

I’m hoping this will be a good year for Betting Kingdom. For those who have followed in recent years you’re probably pissed of with me by now and my constant change of approach. Ultimately my aim remains the same, the help punters win money.

Sadly that approach as seen bookmaker affiliate income all but dry up. Hardly surprising given the business model, I’m amazed it worked at all.

Luckily I’m a saver and have a few quid spare in the BK Tank to have one last crack before it runs dry. 12 months might be all I have, so I’ll be working hard to make this a success.

Anyhow enough self pity. You want to know how my gambling is going. Still no great. 19 days in and I’m down -11.5pts with a 6% ROI.

So what’s gone wrong? It’s just a couple of tipsters are having a poor run. The two tipsters I’ve followed the most (33 & 31 tips respectively) have returned losing of -10.2pts and -7.9pts. I won’t name them here as I’m confident both can turn this run around and produce a long term profit.

If my loyalty proves correct them I’ll be back in the green before long.

I’ve already stopped following a number of tipsters I was on board for various reasons, mainly odds availability. If like me you have bookmaker limitations then you need to find tipsters who use the bookmaker you have access to. Otherwise you stand no chance of making a long term profit.

I will give a quick shout out to two tipsters. Go Collect who is a US Horse Racing tipster and currently free has netted ne +6.8pts of profit.

Bet & Win who you can subscribe to for just £10 per month has netted me +5.46pts of profit. Both these are from very small sample sizes so I’d recommend you pay more attention to their overall stats first.

I’m finding some really good tipsters that I’m excited to be following and shall update reviews once I’ve had a chance to see how they operate.

Keep enjoying your gambling. Bet responsibly and hopefully I can help you find the best tipsters to follow over the next 12 months.
