After the shitstorm that was week 2 it could only get better surely? It needed to. At first it did. I started to claw back some of my losses with a good run on the tennis. Nellberg landed a nice winner on Bairstow to hit the most 6s but even that was unlucky in the end. Albeit some abysmal catching from the flapping Saffers fielders meant a dead heat and half a payout. Better than a kick in the bollocks I guess.
I was up £50 for the week around Wednesday. Then came the golf. Down the years golf has probably been the sport that has bought me most success. Not for a while it seems. I spent more time doing my research this week and listened to the voices of all the other experts floating around on Twitter. Little good it did me.

Kirk threatened. Cantlay gave me false hope briefly. In the end it was another wash out and I ended the week £5 down. The frightening thing being that football has yet to really begin so fuck knows how much I’ll lose when that gets underway. I had £55 on the Community Shield, following advice from SportingLife and SPTips. I lost £7.
I even got suckered in by a bet365 Super Boost on the Women’s Euros final. That lost!
Patience is the name of the game. No need to panic. Keep doing the research, keep placing good bets and the tide will turn. As it stands, 3 weeks in I’ve staked £1047.46, placed 120 bets, lost £224.30 with a negative ROI of -21.41%. Anyone would think I’d been following Altan’s tips.
Until next week. Be lucky!
