About My Tennis Odds
I’ve been a tipster for over 10 years. At times a very good tipster. The secret to my success was always finding value in the odds by pricing up matches myself. It’s the only way you can beat the bookmakers and make a long term profit.
With the demise of my tipster competition site Betting Kingdom I wanted to see if I could make a success of being a tipster. Tennis is the sport I have chosen as I’ve followed the men’s game for many years and made a decent profit when following the action closely.
For now all the information on this site will be free. I will share the key stats from select main draw matches on the ATP Tour. I use those stats to predict the match odds.
I then compare my odds with those of the bookmakers. If there is a difference then I will post a tip. I’m looking for value. I never predict which player will win a match. Sport is too unpredictable.
So if I price a player at 2.0 and the bookmaker is offering 2.5, that is when I will share a tip. I will only ever use bet365 bookmaker and the betfair exchange. That is because other bookmakers are very quick to limit winning punters and odds change too quickly. By only using these bookmakers I hope that any punters who follow my advice can match my prices and get a reasonable stake on.
If my tips prove successful this season then I hope to set up a paid service. It is quite a time consuming task compiling the stats and pricing up the matches and with affiliate deals no longer a viable approach, or approved by the majority of punters going down the premium route seems the best option.
That is the future plan and won’t happen unless I can achieve a ROI of at least 5%. I just wanted to be honest from the outset.
