HISTORY
 
The Seattle Seahawks were founded in 1976. They play in the NFC Western Division. They lost in the 2005 Super Bowl, their only appearance. The Seahawks team colours are Pacific Blue, Navy Blue, Neon Green and White. They play their games at Qwest Field which has a capacity of 67,000.
 
 
RECENT SEASONS
 
The Seattle Seahawks have been very strong in recent seasons winning the NFC Western Division three years running between 2004 - 06. In 2005 they reached the Super Bowl but were beaten 10 - 21 by Pittsburgh Steelers. Last season it was the Chicago Bears that beat them, this time in the Divisional Playoffs.
