| The Atlanta Hawks were founded in 1946 and play in the South East Division of the Eastern Conference. They won the NBA Championship once in 1958. The Hawks play at the Philips arena which boasts 20,300 seats. They wear a Red, Black, White and Gold kit. Most of their success came in the 50s and 60s. |

| The Atlanta Hawks have failed to reach the NBA playoffs for seven consecutive seasons. Prior to this disastrous run they had reached the knock out stages seven years running up until 1999. In 2005 the Hawks won just 13 games with a percentage of 0.188. This was their worst season ever in the NBA. |
