The Paris Masters is regarded by many as being the most prestigious indoor tennis tournament in the world. It is part of the Tennis Masters Series on the ATP Tour and attracts all the games leading stars. Its current sponsors name is BNP Paribas Masters.

The tournament is played indoors at the Palais OmniSports de Paris-Bercy and is often referred to as 'Paris Indoor'. It takes place in late October/early November and is normally the final tournament on tour before the season ending Tennis Masters Cup.

The current champion is David Nalbandian who ended the 2007 season in excellent form. He caused a big shock in the third round beating Roger Federer. He then took full advantage progressing to the final where he thrashed Rafael Nadal
