The ATP event in Moscow is officially called the Kremlin Cup. It is staged at the Olympic Stadium, Moscow, Russia. The event takes place in Mid October and attracts the leading players seeking a place in the end of season Tennis Masters Cup.
The Kremlin Cup is played indoors on carpet and has a main draw consisting of 32 players. It was first held in 1990 and has been won 12 times by a Russian Player. Nikolay Davydenko has won the tournament three times in the last four years most recently defeating Paul Henri Mathieu in the final. |
