The Memphis tennis tournament is known as the Region Morgan Keegan (RMF) Championships. It first took place in 1975. It is staged at the Racquet Club of Memphis and is the only professional tennis tournament in the world to be played at a private club.

The facilities are impressive with a 5,000 capacity on the main court. The field consists of 32 players who compete on the indoor hard courts. The current champion is Steve Darcis who caused a surprise beating Robin Soderling in the final in 2008.
