The tournament at Casablanca is officially called the Grand Prix Hassan II. It is staged in the country Morocco in Africa. Matches are played on clay courts with a main draw consisting on 32 players. It takes place in the middle of May.

The tournament was first held in 1986 and has since been a regular fixture on the ATP Tour. There have been a number of different champions at the Casablanca tournament. The current champion is Paul Henri Mathieu who thrashed Albert Montanes 6 - 1, 6 - 1 to land the title.
