The Canada Masters is one of the oldest tennis tournaments in the world. The event first took place way back in 1881. Only Wimbledon and the US Open have been around longer. The men's event is a Tennis Masters Series and the surface is hard courts.
The tournament alternates between the cities of Toronto and Montreal. In 2007 the event was held in Montreal and Novak Djokovic landed his second Masters Series Title of the season. Djokovic had excellent wins over Andy Roddick, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer in the final. |
