Peter Luczak was born on August 31st, 1979 in Warsaw, Poland but now represents Australia. He turned pro in 2000 and has won eight titles on the Challenger Circuit including four in 2007. These wins helped him to a career high ranking of 69th in March 2008.

Luczak had his best performance in a Grand Slam at the 2006 Australian Open. He recorded wins over Ivo Minar and Olivier Rochus before losing to Tommy Haas in the 3rd round. He also represented Australia in several Davis Cup matches in 2007.
