Robby Ginepri was born on October 7th, 1982 in Florida, USA. He turned pro in 2001 and has won two titles on the ATP Tour. Ginepri's first victory came in his home country at Newport in 2003. He had his best season of his career so far in 2005.

In August he reached his first Masters Series semi-final in Cincinnati. He then went on to the US Open semi-finals where he lost a 5 set match against Andre Agassi. Another Masters Series semi-final followed and Ginepri reached number 15 in the world, his highest position yet.
