Agustin Calleri was born on September 14th, 1976 in Rio Cuarto, Argentina. He turned pro in 1995 and has won two ATP titles. It was not until 1999 that Calleri won his first ATP match at Roland Garros. He is a hard hitter who prefers to play on the clay courts.

He won his first title in 2003 which saw him rise to his highest ever ranking at number 16. His second victory came in Austria in 2006 when he only dropped one set in the whole event. He has been disappointing in the grand slams never getting beyond the third round.
