Benjamin Becker was born on July 16th, 1981 in Merzig, Germany. He turned pro in 2005 and is yet to win on the ATP Tour. He is not related to Boris Becker but the crowd have still been known to shout 'Come On Boris' when he is playing matches.

He made an impact on the ATP Tour in 2006. Firstly in June he qualified for Wimbledon and beat Chela in round one before bowing out in round two. Then at the US Open he defeated Andre Agassi in his last ever match as a professional before being knocked out by Andy Roddick in the fourth round.
