You can tell when a player has used an auto play as their reaction happens instantly with no delay. It can be a crucial giveaway to the strength of their hand.

If they raise it is likely they have a strong hand. An instant check would represent a weak hand where as a call would suggest a drawing hand that is not yet complete. This is obviously not always accurate but is worth paying attention to.

All poker rooms allow players at a table to chat. It can sometimes be helpful in giving a clue to what type of hand your opponent has. If a player that has been chatting a lot suddenly become quiet it is an indication they are concentrating because they have good cards.
