The Yorkshire Oaks is a Group 1 flat horse race contested by three year old and above thoroughbred fillies and mares. The race takes place each year at York Racecourse. It is run in the month of August during the very popular Ebor Festival. The race is run over a distance of 1 mile, 3 furlongs and 198 yards which is the equivalent of 2,394 meters.
