The St.Leger is a Group 1 flat horse race for three year old thoroughbred colts and fillies. It is raced over a distance of 1 mile, 6 furlongs. It is held in September at Doncaster racecourse and is one of the five classic races in the UK. It is the final leg for both the colts' and fillies' Triple Crown. The race was first run as far back as 1776.
