The Coronation Cup is a Group 1 flat horse race contested by thoroughbreds four years old and above. The race takes place at Epsom racecourse. It is raced over a distance of 1 mile, 4 furlongs and 10 yards which is equivalent to 2,423 meters. In 2007 the race was won by Scorpion. It was first run in 1902 to mark the Coronation of King Edward VII.
