| The Champion Hurdle is a National Hunt Horse Race staged for horses four years old and above. It is the most prestigious hurdle race in the UK. It is run over 2 miles and 110 yards at Cheltenham racecourse. The race takes place on the first day of the Cheltenham festival. The Champion Hurdle was first run way back in 1927. |
