The WGC CA Championship is one of the four World Golf Championship events. It was formally referred to as The American Express Championship . The tournament has been held at different venues but will now be staged at Doral Golf Club in March. The current champion is Geoff Ogilvy.

The tournament is an invitational event with the world's top 50 golfers in the official rankings playing. Extra invites are then offered to players who are high up in order of merits from tours all around the world. This has resulted in fields less than 70 players.
