The Tour Championship marks the end of the PGA Tour season. It is one of the richest tournaments and take place in September. It is contested by the top 30 money winners on tour. In recent years the event has been staged at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2007 the tournament is to be moved to mid-September and will be the
final event in the hunt for the Fed Ex Cup. This will mark a change in the structure to the PGA Tour's schedule. The aim is to add to the excitement of the final months of the tour calendar. |
