The Stanford St.Jude Championship is a PGA Tour event and takes place in June. The current champion is Justin Leonard from America. The tournament takes place at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee where it has been held since 1989. The event first took place in 1958.
It has formally been called the Fed Ex St.Jude Classic but changed its sponsor in 2007. Justin Leonard won the tournament in 2008 in a three way playoff. A birdie on the second playoff hole was good enough to see off Robert Allenby and Trevor Immelman. |
