HISTORY
 

The Johnnie Walker Classic is a European Tour event which takes place in Asia or Australia. The current champion is Mark Brown . The event first took place in 1990 and has had some impressive winners. It attracts some of the worlds best players by offering large appearance fees.

The 2008 tournament was played at the DLF Golf and Country Club in India. Mark Brown secured victory thanks to five birdies on the bank nine on his way to a final round of 67 and a three shot victory. It was his first ever victory on the European Tour.
