The Hong Kong Open is a co-sanctioned event on the Asian and European Tours. The current champion is Miguel Angel Jimenez from Spain.
It takes place in November but counts towards the next Tour season. It is staged at Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling.
The tournament was originally founded in 1959 and has been a European Tour event since 2001. The Hong Kong Open has produced some first class winners. In 2007 the tournament was handed to Jimenez by Robert Karlsson who made a double bogey on the final hole. |
