HISTORY
 

The BMW International Open is a European Tour event which takes place in June. The current champion is Niclas Fasth from Sweden. The tournament takes place at Golf Club Munchen-Nord-Eichenried where it has been staged for the past five years.

The BMW International Open was first played in 1989. It is held in Munich, Germany which is the headquarters of BMW. It attracts a very strong field and in 2007 Niclas Fasth shot a final round of 70 to see of local legend Bernard Langer by two shots.
