The AT & T Pebble Beach National Pro Am is played on three courses in California, Pebble Beach, Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill. The tournament is renowned for the celebrities that take part including the likes of Kevin Costner, Bill Murray and many, many more.

In the first three rounds professionals are paired with amateurs and they play each course once. The final round is then held at Pebble Beach. Rain has often slowed up play and caused the tournament to be delayed. In 1998 the final round had to be postponed until August.
