Mark Wilson was born on October 31st, 1974 in Wisconsin, USA. He turned pro in 1997 and spent three years on the Hooters Tour winning 3 events. He spent several seasons playing on the PGA Tour of Australasia but returned to America to play on the Nationwide Tour in 2002.
At the end of the season he earnt his place on the PGA Tour via the qualifying school. In his rookie season he came close to retaining his card finishing 128th on the money list. Mark Wilson made his breakthrough in 2007 winning the Honda Classic in a 4 way playoff for his first PGA Tour title. |
