Brett Wetterich was born on August 9th, 1973 in Ohio, USA. He started playing golf at the age of 2 with the encouragement of his father. He turned pro in 1994 and was a rookie on the PGA Tour in 2000. A wrist injury caused a major setback and he had surgery the following year.
He spent two seasons on the Nationwide Tour before regaining is playing rights in 2005. He made his major breakthrough the following year. After several high finishes he secured his first tour victory in the 2006 EDS Byron Nelson Championship. |
