Boo Weekley was born on July 23rd, 1973 in Florida, USA. He turned pro in 1997 and earnt his card for the 2002 PGA Tour season through Q-School. He had a disastrous rookie season. He only managed to make the cut in five tournaments and his best finish was tied nineteenth.

Between 2003 - 2006 Weekley was playing his golf on the Nationwide Tour. During this spell he failed to win a tournament and it was not until 2006 that he started to make an impact. With some consistent performances throughout the season he ended the year 7th on the money list to win his card back.
