Marc Warren was born on April 1st, 1981 in Scotland. He started playing golf at 13 and in 2001 holed the winning putt in the Walker Cup. He turned pro in 2002 and spent several years on the Challenge Tour. It was when he joined up with new coach Bob Torrance that his career took off.
In 2005 he finished 1st on the Challenge Tour rankings with back to back victories in the middle part of the year. He progressed onto to European Tour and struggled in the first few months. Then later in the year he won the Scandanavian Masters beating Robert Karlsson in a playoff. |
